I am i the only cheerleader who wants to punch the people who say cheerleading is no work and just dancing?

Question by Britilicious: I am i the only cheerleader who wants to punch the people who say cheerleading is no work and just dancing?

Yes i do. If you go NFL you get paid.
Run a mile, double nine, pike, handsprings, more running, stunting, and cheer practice and you do that TWICE
No sarcastic answers from people with no life ambition

Do you get paid for it? and by paid i mean enough to pay the rent, buy a weeks groceries, and pay the bill on your own like a real job.

Preach to someone who doesn’t own a gym.

I agree with Chair and Richard.

Do you know how easy it would be to beat up a moody cheerleader?. Your whole existence is a meaningless waste of time. You’re just future strippers who’ve yet to make any money. A chimpanzee in a mini skirt could put on a more worthy display and is infinitely more intelligent than a cheerleader and you want praise for this?.
You couldn’t even type this question without screwing up the grammar pom pom girl.

EDIT lmao at “no life ambition”, people with life ambition would never dream of degrading themselves by dancing around half naked as decoration for a group of dumb men throwing a ball around. When I was a teenage girl (not so long ago) I was reading books in order to fuel my thirst for knowledge and fulfilment. Well done for keeping womankind back 100yrs you silly, naive little weakling. That’s some life ambition you must have if you’re seeking praise for such nonsense, shake those pom poms dumb @rse!.

Don’t pay attention to these people. I was a cheerleader in highschool and college and know that it is hard work when you are on a competitive squad.

Dude, The Chair has some serious issues. I guess not so popular in highschool and feel the need to lash out. Get a life. Not everybody fits the stereotype.

You’re only there for dudes to stair at and compare who’s hotter and who’s not. You actually provide zero motivation for anyone, nobody really gives a damn about what you cheer, nor do they pay attention to what you’re saying. They’re checking out legs and chest. You’re eye candy and your cheering is basically an excuse to have you out there.

I was a cheerleader for an American Footy team in england.
It is hard work. I was a base so I was constantly lifting people in the air. These girls may look light…but after lifting them 20 times in the air they start to get heavy!
I could probably bench press more than the guys on the footy team after training!

i haaaate when people say that !!!!! I do competitive cheerleading, and these people who say that cheerleading is no work, do not know what real work is untiil they’ve done a 2.30 routine with stunting, and jumping, and tumbling, 15 times in a row!

I agree. i mean depending on what kind of team your on of course. and i do have to agree with some people…”cheerleaders” for the NFL and NBA are NOT cheerleaders. they don’t ever cheer. they do just sit there half naked so the guys can stare. i have zero respect for them. now if you compete its a different story. i wish that my middle school competed, but we don’t. so right now cheer is just for fun. but my other team competed and i cant wait to get to high school for competetive level cheer. and dancing is work too. but again, a professional sports dancer? or hardcore competitive dance? i used to think the same thing as you. but im a cheerleader and i have no respect for the cheerleders for NFL. they aren’t cheerleaders. i think about this every time i watch a sporting event with “cheerleaders”. they dont do what you explain. they stand there. i will admit at a basketball game they did dance, but honestly more “stripper” than “dance”. and they had a few girls and girls doing stunts at the beginning but they werent the cheerleaders. i’ve only seen them once. and i think that cheering at football games (younger like middle and high school) just distracts the players. idk how we dont. i find the cheers annoying too. the crowd gets into it..but still. i prefer competition cheer if that wasnt already obvious. lol hope i helped! =)
