I would really wait until its over.
To much pulling and pressure can make it reject, migrate or infected!

So I would Wait but you do what you want ;]

Uhh I hate that. Everyone is forced to take it out. Just wear a tank top and underneath wrap your belly with seren wrap, that’s what I did, and if anyone asks say it just helps you keep your back straighter or something like that. But I PROMISE you that it’s going to hurt and yes please gause and medical take it PLEASE!! and than put the wrap over because it’ll hurt like a mother.

Um, if you’re not allowed to have piercings in your belly for cheerleading, WHY are you getting it done tomorrow?

You obviously know you can’t take it out. You shouldn’t be removing the initial ring for at LEAST 6 months. I guess you can tape it down, but just know that this fresh piercing is going to be VERY tender and VERY sore and VERY painful.

If you’re doing tumbling, or pyramids or whatever, there’s really going to be no way to hide the pain you’ll feel by stretching it, accidentally getting hit there, because I assure you doing any sort of physical activity is going to pose a big problem with accidentally being punched or hit there.

And I’m telling you, the pain of being hit, or even tapped, is scream worthy. There is absolutely no hiding that.

I wouldn’t get the piercing done now, 2 weeks isn’t nearly enough time for your piercing to heal, and then be taken out or subjected to cheerleading. Navels can take upwards of a year to totally heal and the bumping, sweating and pressure would make it extremely painful for you. Taking out the jewellery isn’t an option either, you shouldn’t be changing the jewellery for at least 4 months or so, maybe even more. It all depends on how quickly you body heals. I’d also suspect infection if you try to cover or wrap it during cheerleading. Navels are almost imfamous in how easily they infect, they need a clean, dry, breezy and undisturbed environment to heal successfully.

Wait until you have the time and effort to dedicate to the piercing. It’s very worthwhile, but you need to baby it like nothing else, otherwise it’ll just be a waste of pain and money.

Just cover it with two band aids. that’s what i did and the coach’s have never noticed and since competition season doesn’t start for awhile you should be good. When competitions do start and you have to take it out it’s no big deal. As long as you put it back in the same day and clean it, you’re fine :]
