hi im gona try out for cheerleader this year and im 14 and 5ft 2in and about 128 and i havea littl belly fat and i was wanderin how much should i weigh and if i make it will the fat show through the siut?

    ya it will show threw the suit but who cares cheerleader is for you to go out and have fun not for others to judge you. if it bugs you that much maybe it will give you the motivation to loose weight.

    Ans, also it depends on “cheer leader uniforms”.

    You should weigh whatever you feel comfortable weighing. You don’t have to be stick thin to be a cheerleader.

    You can be any weight and if it is a little tummy there is no need to lose it….. And 128 pound is NOT BAD for your height…… but if you decide to lose weight i would not go under lik 105 pounds….

    Personally I don’t think a 14 year old should be conscerned with “a little belly fat” but if you must lose weight (or you feel the need to lose weight) then I would suggest focus on getting rid of the belly fat, don’t focus on your actuall weight

    Girl do not be self conscious about your body, first of all. 128 is fine.

    flyers usually weigh 115 or less.

    There are many cheerleaders that weigh over 128 so just practice and try out and be confident! your weight doesn’t matter.

    i hope you are doing cheer leading because it interests you and not to fit in 🙁 careful because conformity only leads to self destruction

    okay i know girls who are you size exactly and ther cheerleaders just go on walks drink acai berry like that one person said and just stay in shape youll lose weight while training with the cheerleaders and you wont be a flyer probably one of the flippy girls

    a cheerleader’s weight can differ from 98-230 pounds so you can see, you’re pretty fit-weight wise. Just be confident in yourself and smile a lot at the tryouts. The judges wont even notices anything; if there is anything to notice.
