10 years is pretty young, but if you have the talent age really doesn’t matter.

Anything is competitive. So as long as you’re not being unsportsmanlike, which hopefully you’re not. I really don’t see much of a big deal about age.

Cheerleading is way too competative. It’s not a sport I’d encourage anyone to get into just because of the hostility that girls have towards each other in the cheerleading culture. You’re ten, so it might not be a big deal right now. People tell you you’re too young because they think you’re really good for your age. But trust me – it will get really competative and really bad if you can’t handle it.

O give me a break! i’ve done competitive cheerleading for four years now. and now im even coaching competitive cheerleading. Right now the girls that im coaching are in second and third grade. They are doing great and there competion is in november. It doesn’t matter how old you are at all. Cheerleading may be competitive but the way i see it any sport is going to be competieve. The people that keep telling you your to young are just jealous or they really don’t even know anything about it. AGE DOESN’T MATTER IN CHEERLEADING. i’ve seen 6 year olds on an all star team and it was great. Just keep doing what you love to do. Im sure your probably great.
