Question by Bella: Why do people think Cheerleading is going to be in the 2016 Olympics?
I have found no evidence this is true. Rumors and unreliable sources is what I found. There was only to be 2 sports chosen for the 2016 Olympics, as Softball and baseball were dropped. Rugby sevens and golf were chosen. So how is cheerleading included in the 2016 Olympics? I have nothing against cheerleading being included, i’m just confused why people think that it is going to be in the 2016 Olympics.
Am I wrong?

The only people who think it is going to be in the Olympics are people who are apart of cheer leading organizations. I agree with you that if softball and baseball are going to be dropped cheer leading should not be included. But the main reason softball and baseball were dropped is that the United States always won. They aren’t wold wide sports and niether is cheer leading.
(and yes I will give you competitive cheerleading is a sport, just not a contact world wide sport that should be included in the olympics)

Well cheerleading is done all over the world such as Japan, America, Australia, South America..ect soo i wouldnt think there was anything wrong wiht it being at the 2016 Olympics
