Flyer – the girl being lifted and thrown into the air (you need to keep you body very tight and be very confident) =)
2 Bases – the people on both sides lifting the flyer by her feet and catches the flyer (you need to have strong arms)
Third – the person in the back of the stunt who also lifts the flyer (usually by her ankles, lower legs, waist, or her butt during a straddle) and keeps her steady (must be steady and in control)
Front – person in the front of the stunt who usually holds the bases’s wrists to take off some weight (some teams do not use a front)
Spotters – the people that stand around the stunt ready to catch the flyer incase something goes wrong
What do you think? Answer below!
if your talking about stunting there are four- five spots:
the flyer or “birdie”- this person goes up and is on the top.
the main base- this person is the main base for liberties, heel stretches, scorpions, scale, hitches, etc.
another base- this person helps the main base in liberties, heel stretches, scorpions, scales, hitches, etc and has equal weight in elevators and extensions.
backspot- this person helps with loading in and helps holding up from the back.
front spot- this person doesnt have to hold on or anything just stands in case of falling or anything.
i hope this is what you were talking about.
