The Atlas Orthogonal procedure has been published in two mainstream medical journals (not chiropratic journals) that were peer reviewed studies in the Journal of Human Hypertension and in the Journal of Whiplash and Related Disorders. Simply do a google search and you can find them.

I agree with you completely, but there is a few things left out. First of all IF the atlas isnt the subluxation no ammt of AO to the atlas will help the patient. I am advanced with my understanding of cord pressures and they commonly cause acute discs anywhere in the spine, but it’s less than half the the time so the majority of UC patients are Neglecting other major problems namely herniated discs. Adjustments are only powerful when they correct subluxations…otherwise they are worthless.

Actually, all chiropractic adjustments can have a tremendous effect on the body especially when done in the prudent manner you espouse. Infact, AO has pre and post xray and MRI studies showing resolution of both cervial and lumbar disc lesions following exclusive AO care. This is in addition to the restoration of curves that can be seen with quality Gonstead care. It is important tha all chiropractors not underestimate the healing power of innate, regardless of where the adjustment is given.

This is fantastic and yes it can help with other people too. We all have spines and they all work the same way. Get examined as soon as possible because degeneration more than likely is getting worse, because more than likely the first misalignment happened during birth and is steadily getting worse. Light toggle recoil is good, NUCCA, duff method. Others also .too writes me, the sagittal atlantoaxial region.
This is right on! Way to go guys.

A neutral lat.cervical will demonstrate the hypolordosis/kyphosis that could be caused by any bone in her spine other than her normalized atlas.I dont recommend you refer this patient tho, they will probably try to sell her wellness care and whiplash her even further…but if you know a good Gonstead man that adjusts as specifically as you do and releases his patients after the correction is made, the remaining nerve pressure may also be corrected. I’d like to see some of your adjustments, thanks.

Good Job Dr.You have saved this patient the majority of her horrible health issues that would have plagued her life.I agree with AO for a scientific adjustment on atlas. This patient isn’t well tho!She has at least one herniated disc in her spine that a lifetime of AO will never address. She may only have anxiety/depression now,but sooner of later you’ll find her holding her atlas adjustment and still having other health issues.Dr Gonstead adjusted the C7 with the same specificity as you do atlas.
