Strengthen core muscles and build endurance:

run. run. run. Basically cheerleaders run in place for two straight hours while yelling and smiling at a football game.

Jumps: Sit with legs apart, lift one leg of the floor and do mini lifts without touching foot back to floor. Switch sides

Jumps: sit on floor, curl into ball (you’ll be tilted back a little) Throw arms and legs out into toe touch position and bring back FAST (strengthend core)

Sit ups and push ups galore.

Lunges and squat thrusts, calf raises all strengthen your muscles.

Practice basic positions in front of a mirror. Make sure EACH motion is crisp and precise. Make sure your hands are flat (not curled up fingers)

Practice shouting from your diaphram (loud voice, not a scream). Pick cheer, or even a nursery rhyme and practice. Make sure you say EACH syllable loud and clear. Do NOT sing the words or drop letters. Make sure the T is a clear sound in words like fight.
