Just do as many arm exercises as you can so you can become stronger and make your cheerleading better.

alright, first off lock your elbows, it will make your arm stiff, and It wont hurt as bad, and it makes your motion look sharp, you can also do some weight lifting, like curls with 5 pound weights, the more you keep hitting your high v, the less it will hurt though!
and remember to keep your thumb wrapped around your middle finger, big doughnut holes out!

My coach calls the way you have to hold you’re hands cinnamon rolls.Make you’re fists as if you are going to punch someone. The should look like e’s.Hold your hands in a tight V shape. It shouldn’t hurt though….

if u hold ur high v daily for a minute…then keep increasingthe time u told it then it will hurt less. also i would recommend lifting weights… not anything too heavy..just about 5lbs. hope i could help!! 🙂

We make our teams hold them in order to get the right position burned into muscle memory. There’s nothing you can do to make it not hurt because muscles left in a certain position over time are just going to burn. (Although as you get used to it, it will become less uncomfortable.)

The good news is that once your coach is satisfied with your team’s motions, the drills will stop, or at least become far less frequent.

    1) work on arm exrcises, pushups, walkovers, lifting weights, ect
    2) keep ur arms up, thumbs facing forward, hands in fists, but loosen ur elbows the tiniest bit so that ur arms aren’t totally tense [when ur coach walks by, straighten them]
    3) keep doing them, while u are watching TV, or something, bcuz u wont b thinking about it so it will be easier, but ur arms muscles will be growing. just make sure u are not slacking, because ur arms will get used to the wrong position.
