lol its called round-off….but thats good you are flexible, that will help if you are a flyer especially.

umm not much is required unless you are a flyer but to be a base or even backspot you should have some good solid strength.

tumbling is a big part to cheerleading and normally you will have a higher chance at being on the team if you can tumble. like back handspring, back tucks, aerials….ect

if you think you will be a flyer like if you are light or tiny or yeah, then i suggest working on some cheerleading positions. check out these videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAHcRaPMXVo&feature=related

No, you don’t have to do your center splits in cheer. Well I would try your best then maybe you could make varsity. But here are some things that you might want to learn with tutorial links.

No, but what you have so far are great! As a flyer, you need to be flexible, so maybe you’ll get to be flyer! (:
you might want to learn tumbling as well.

and for try outs, make sure you have tight motions and you yell loudly when doing the cheers. also remember to SMILE and have facials! (: just a couple tips.

different schools have different requirments. at my school, everyone grades soph-senior make JV. ask someone about the requirnments. you don’t have to have your splits to make a team, in most cases, it just helps with everything else in cheerleading. if the current JV team has lots of tumbling, like back handsprings, then you should start working on those with a coach. and motions are important to.
