Question by Danny P: If you were the judge, how would you punish the 8 teenage kids who beat up the cheerleader?
If you were the judge, how would you punish the 8 teenage kids who beat up the cheerleader? I’m sure you’d all try them all as adults, but what punishment would you give them as adults? Just imagine for a moment that you’re the judge … how would you deal with this crime?

10-20 years. As adults. No reasoning to beat her up…

I would prolly give them time in prison and try them as adults. They know what they did was wrong when they did it and they should pay for their actions. I deffenetly wouldn’t let them get off scott free.

I saw that on the news a few nights ago and I was seriously pretty taken aback. Not only was it plain mean, but it seemed psychotic. On the tape you could hear what one of the girls was saying and it sounded like she was getting off on it! I would definitely give them jail time because I think they need to be humbled but I think I would make them all spend time in a psych ward for evaluation first. Coming up with a plan like that and getting that much satisfaction from beating on someone is really warped. The way that they kept her there, I think they should charged with torture or something like that.

Life imprisonment without any possibility of parole. It’s high time to send a message to these young pieces of debris all over the place.

i would give them about 6-10 yrs. cuz what they did to that girl was wrong. her dad did not even recognize her at the hospital. when i saw that video i got soo mad. i dont care if they are under 18 they knew Exacly what they were doing was wrong they even had 2 look outs. they should be charged as adults. i’m only 14 but i would never do that to anyone no matter what they did to make me so mad.
