Question by Dominique Marie: How To Get Ready For Level Four Cheerleading Tryouts?
I’m currently level three right now.
I want to get ready for tryouts early. I’ve done cheerleading and gymnastics my whole life.
I’m a flyer. So what do I need to make the team. The team requirements haven’t come out yet, so just a general idea, please.

Generally, level 4 skills should include (for stunting) Scorpians, Bow n Arrows, Heel Strech, etc. You should have double downs. And being able to fly on both legs is a bonus (if you cant already).
As for tumbling, standing abck handspring and tucks, running skill: tucks, layouts, working on a full.
Be able to do a toe touch back handspring and toe touch tuck.

At our gym here is the level 4 requirements:
1. Standing tuck
2. Standing backhandspring backtuck (may have to do a jump infront of it)
3, Multiple backhanspring to tuck
4. Round offf backhandspring layout…. or a specialty pass
As far as being a flyer:
1. 1 legged stunts… full down from it
2. Double downs
3. Double baskets
4. Kick Fulls
