Question by Mii Mii: How can I become a cheerleader in college?
I have no previous cheerleading experience whatsoever, but I am very athletic. I am very petite and have an athletic body, do I just go sign up? Please help! Thanks in advnace everyone ~_~

just go and sign up
but make sure you’re in great shape
you gotta out perform a lot of gals and impress the coach if it is a big college that you’re going to

Get some training. You need to be able to perform the moves, and if you don’t even know what they are, then you are in trouble. Local gymnastic places have cheer classes you can take. Being athletic helps, but practice makes perfect. But then you have to audition, just like anyone else. And keep in mind, most of them have years of experience behind them.
You need a lot of stamina. Some people that have been in cheerleading for years still don’t make the college team. You can try out, but don’t be surprised if you don’t make the team.
Just looking athletic and having a lot of athletic background are completely different.
you have to tumble and stunt at try outs they dont just let anyone on the squad so i sugest you do research on what is required at the school and work on it =]
