He’s a journalist, she’s an actress/dancer. During an interview, letting her run on tangents is okay bc you get a lot of great info that way. But for entertaining an audience, they are going to need a narration to keep them interested and keyed in to the parts of the story that need to be emphasized. Like the fact that she said “no” to Beyonce, it doesn’t seem like a big deal to her, but thats a key point in her path to fame story line. He did a good job outlining that.
