vtdesigner , hahaha i agree with lindsey, Byrd’s an amazing team and they work hard and are dedicated. Im sure your school never won 5 state championships in the past 7 years, going to state EVERY YEAR. Yeah, thats not impressive at all? Byrd is amazing and you know it. Great job ladies and gentlemen and fabulous coach (:

i remember when my sister used to cheer for byrd. she won state with them her senior year. she was class of ’02

Maybe awful wasn’t a good word of choice. The performance wasn’t clean. I’m not sure if you know much about cheerleading but if you watch closely you will find that in their routine there stunts are moving, their legs are not up in their jumps, double aren’t clean, and the girls don’t make it all the way around in their baskets. These are just things that I would exspect for a state winning team. If you need any reference please refer chantilly performance last year. Just MY opinion.

I don’t know where you get of saying their performanace was awful, these kids work their tails off all year long and did a great job performing. I’ve been and watched them time and time again and they always do a spectular job.

Good Job! I see how you all were able to hit the score sheets, but over all the preformance was awful. You guys have great skills, but need to spend more time cleaning the routine. I wasn’t at the competition so I don’t know what other squads look like, but once again you guys have great skills and did good job.
