Question by M B: What type of makeup should a cheerleader wear? (please read!)?
I am a middle school cheerleader and am planning to use eyeliner, eyeshadow, pressed powder, and lip gloss. What type makeup should I wear? (brown-green eyes, medium light skin, dark-medium brown hair and in the sunlight you can see red in it)

You need to wear more make-up than you would normally wear to make your facial features stand out. This is important in competition but you do not need to do this just going to school or anything. Just wear foundation that matches your skin tone, blush, mascara, some eyeliner, and an eyeshadow that compliments your features but also makes them stand out. So try brown for the base and then maybe add silver under your eyes to make them pop. But you are only in middle school, so you don’t need to pack it on…not like anyone does…also wear shiny lip gloss with some pink tint and you are set.
what u hav is good. i was a cheerleader last year too, ima freshman now.. and thats all good but add some blush and definatley MASCARA. its a must for sure!!! and curl ur eyelashes before u apply mascara. helps a ton!!

for school cheer i wear, Eyeliner, Mascara, pressed powder, Bronzer/Blush mixed, and glittery eyeliner in my school colors ontop of my eyelids near my lashes.
for competitive cheer i wear, Foundation(very heavy) Bronzer, Blush, pink lip stick and red lipgloss, black eyeshadow, purple eye shadow, light purple eye shadow, and white eye shadow, loose powder, sparkly powder, fake eyelashes, mascara, 5 layers of purple glitter eyeliner, and shu umera face spray

You want to wear stand out makeup when cheerleading. I did for years and thats what I was always told. You want to wear colors that are pretty though and don’t look too makeup like lol. Try these together. IDEAL SHADE Pressed Powder, For eyeshadow get these Satin Deluxe Eyeshadow Duo in chocolate/cherry and sandstorm duos, For eyeliner get GLIMMERSTICKS Waterproof Eye Liner in black (get the waterproof bc when you’re cheering it won’t melt off) and Super Shock mascara, for lipgloss get Hollywood Lights Lip Gloss in Berry Premier (this one is awesome bc it lights up and comes in handy on the bus!) or you might want to try a lipstick that is colorstay PERFECT WEAR Extralasting Lipstick in enduring wine would look good! All the cheerleaders I know wear heavy makeup. However, you’re just in middle school… so I think you don’t really need makeup in the first place… you’re a bit young…
