im doing a speech on cheerleading and my main points are what cheerleading is, the risks of beeing a cheerleader and the history of cheer!
im horrible at thinking of intros. HELP ME!

i think you should start with a cheer…or maybe tumbling if you can do flips and stuff. i would think that would be cool
as a cheerleader myself a good intro for cheer leading stuff is that cheer leading should be considered a sport more people get hurt in cheer leading every year because of stunts( you may want to look for statistics for that) also you might want to talk about how much work cheer leading is it is not just peppy smiles and pom-poms the cheerleaders have to organize pep rallies, stay super tight during stunts ( when you are a flyer), and you have to memorize all the cheers and dances for games and half time, also you probably point out that cheerleaders need to be pretty flexible for jumps and stunts
I think you should start with a cheer then go into how you have to keep smiling and look happy through the pain and no matter how tired you are. If you can wear your uniform! It will give them a sense of what you really do.
