It depends on the high school, but i’d say a C average (2.0) would keep you eligible.
it depends on your school/coach’s rules, but when i did sports in high school (track and swimming-graduated in ’04) we could only have a’s and b’s…prolly an occasional c…they just check your gpa
Every school is different… but at our school, grades are factored in to your tryout score. You can get a total possible score of 100. 70 points come from your actual tryout skills; 20 points come from citizenship (points are deducted for detentions, suspensions, etc). And 10 points is from your grades. For example, if your grade point average is 95, you would get 9.5 points in that category. Once you’ve made it, you have to be passing all your classes. If you’re failing a class, you’re suspended from games until you bring it up to a passing grade.
Oh you don’t need one; they ask you how many fingers you have on your hand, what color the sky is, and then give you a std screening from planned parenthood
