  1. ME MYSELF I

before the actual audition we had to fill out a resume or something

well the way we did it is on the 1st day we learned the routine the next day we rehearsed the routine then on the final day we performed for the judges.

when we performed it was in two portions the 1st portion was when we told them why we wanted to be on the team than the 2nd portion we did the routine in groups of 3

e-mail me if you have any questions at all

oh at my old school we just signed in and we went up 1 by 1 and they asked us what we could do and if we could do it then we’d do it but if we couldn’t do it then we’d tell then we couldn’t

and you could also ask the coach

    can you naswer mine?

its been a while since middle school. but the only thing you have to do is be loud, do jumps (toe touches, pikes, etc), show confidence, show spirit, and be a cheerLEADER. learn the moves nad the words fas and really stick your moves.

Whats a somersault? A front tuck (front flip) or a forward roll? Also, all schools are different. Don’t worry about it, just be peppy and try your best!

do the cheer/dance without messing up, or at least acting like you’re extremely confident, punch your motions, smile constantly, have decent jumps, be LOUD, and look like you’re having fun. also, wear what they tell you to wear to tryouts/practices. if they don’t tell you, wear a white tee shirt and black shorts, or your school colors. have all of your hair out of your face, put a ribbon in it, and don’t wear too much if any makeup since you’re in middle school. cheerleaders not only have to be athletes, but we also have to look good while doing it! đŸ™‚

Just be really confident! Your skill levels may not be very high but you can improve it by doing a roundoff and then a double toetouch or some jump sequence, this will show them that you are open and creative. They will probably teach you a dance and a cheer or two, so a good way to show you are really into it and are serious ask questions to the former cheerleaders who will be there helping to run things because the coach takes their input very seriously and make friends with all the returner girls and ask them questions and ask them their opinions of your jumps just become friends with them because although they were on the team before right this moment they are in the same position as you are. Good Luck!
