What kind of skills does the average highschool jv cheerleader have to have? How long have most jv cheerleaders been cheering? What about C-team and varsity?

well, it really depends on what school you try out for and what their expectations are. But when i tried out for cheer for my freshman year, i had no experience and i made the JV squad. you just have to have exceptional jumps, have sharp angles, be loud (not yelling but from your diaphragm), and pick up moves/dances fast =]
