    She definitely has the right idea and attitude. Too many Japanese work themselves to death. Too serious most of the time. So it’s nice that this girl, if possible, is at least trying to help others selflessly. I think she’s a better person than most in many respects.

    I wish I knew about this before. I would have gone to see her, but she probably isn’t doing this anymore and I’m no longer in Japan.

    I used to bask in europe and japan. i can tell you it’s not easy to keep performing under such a situation. she’s got guts!

    Japan culture 101.. There’s a saying in Japan (roughly translated to English), that goes; “the nail standing up get’s hammered down”. Meaning; conform or be cast out. There’s a time and place for everything in Japan so… She’s not at the right place or time designated to be appropriate, so they pretend to ignore her. I love her attitude though. Wish there were more people like her in the States. ;D
