Question by XOcheermamaOX: What are coaches looking for in cheerleading tryouts?
I am trying out for cheerleading on November 1,2,3,and 4. But the actual in front of judges performance is November 8 and 9. Could you guys help me with things that they’ll be looking for?
I’m a 6th grader.

well first off you got to have spirit. so try cheering infront of a mirror and see how that works out. once you got the spirit you got to add a dash of sexyness into the spirit. thats were that cartwheels flips and short skirts come in handy. finally you got to have a wide smile.

well coaches usually look for a person who show the potential to grow, a real team player. they look at skill but they look for the teachable as well so yes some skill may be required but potential and teachability is also very important.
