I heard they make $ 50 per game. What skills do you need to be a professional cheerleader?

Currently on my school’s JV squad, I’m a freshman.

Like, how do you get started? What colleges/universities offer cheerleading scholarships?

im not sure what colleges offer cheerleading scholar ship but u have train urself and do good in practice with your team and make your cheer team look good so other coaches will scout you and smile when you are performing

    for colleges that offer scholarships look in the september/october issue of american cheerleader magazine. there are not that many decent scholarships or if they do, they are mid western schools that aren’t that good. most just offer books. but coaches might be able to point you in a right direction for a scholarship.

    as for professional cheer, most are actually dancers and not cheerleaders. so they look for a pom style background of dance. though there might be teams that are actually cheerleaders (one of the arena football teams near me actually have cheerleaders)
