You need to be able to some type of tumbling. Also, make sure your EXTREMELY tight on your jumps, motions, dances, cheers, everything! GOOD LUCK!!!

We had some girls from our school who never cheered before get on.
    Well one.
The others have been doing it for a while.
I think you should join rec cheer.
Because if you say your a cheerleader and your not, and you don’t get on,
    I would find it embarrassing..
Just practice a lot and take tumbling classes.

As a cheerleading coach, we look for girls who also get along with other girls. If you are the type to start a lot of drama, we don’t want you on the squad. We like girls who are looking to always improve.

But the basics, your arm motions (are your arms like noodles or are they straight?), your jumps (do you hit the jump, or are you flailing in the air?) and kicks are the most important. It also helps if you have rhythm, can you clap and bounce side to side at the same time?

Just some pointers 🙂 But be friendly with everyone. The coach sees if you are nice to all the girls!
