Question by Crystal: How to be the popular cheerleader in high school?
I’m already a cheerleader and want to try out for my high school cheer team. I want to be popular and pretty. So I need major advice. How to act, what to say, what to dress, shall I have a boyfriend. I don’t want anyone to leave mean comments saying, “to be myself.” This is me I just need tips. I have dark blonde hair and brown eyes with pale skin. Please help me!

I HATE these questions. Has it ever crossed your mind that 89.9% of popular girls in high school end up being ugly sl*ts?! For heavens sake, stop asking people how to be a sl*t. You should already know how to do that, you seem good at it. 🙂

i think u should not act like a little bi*** and u should talk to everyone. don’t have ur own little crew. just be friendly to everyone. whenever there’s an event going on- be there, don’t miss it.
and be careful when u go to parties not to get drunk, cuz it’s gonna be ugly picture for a cheerleader to be drunk
if you try to be popular its never gonna work. when you try it is only gonna make people think that you are fake. its not really that great anyway…i am in the “popular” click at school and we didn’t even really know it till i was talking to this girl who i don’t really hang out with at school but she is still my friend, and she said something about me being one of the popular girls and that’s when we realized it. i mean you have your friends just like in any other click.

ok yah everyone wants to be popular but asking people how to achieve popularity is the dumbest question ever be your self wear the clothes you truly want to wear hang out with people you want to hang out with and date the guy you want to date!!! seriously if people at your school knew you posted this question they would think it was really dumb so sorry but be yourself
Well im gonna try to answer your question. I think the big thing with the popular girls are you have to be confident, and outgoing. Make friends with the popular girls. Wear cute clothes, not slutty or anything maybe little dreses with leggings skirts with leggings, skinny jeans, ballet flats. Anything you find cute and flirty. Try to go out more with the popular girls, go to parties school dances anything like that. Wear make up, not too much some brown eyeliner looks good with brown eyes light pink blush since you have pale skin, some mascara. Dont cover your face in makeup just enough to enhance your face. For your hair do loose curls, or braids, or straighten it, again anything that looks cute. Dont try to hard! hope that helped!
OK, These people are being mean, I think you’d be a great person to have as a friend. I’m a cheerleader so I understand the hate we get for being talented. But, I’m still working on popularity so my 10th grade cousin will give you advice now SHE’S popular:
OK, Hi. Here’s my advice:
1. Act like you KNOW what your doing Like your laid back don’t care and like you can kind of but not really control someone. *BUT DON’T DO THAT* You have to be nice to.
2. Say things that are preppy excited. And don’t be over excited or you’ll lose your cool image.
3. Dress in Abercombie, Hollister, basically have your own style. Think girly. But not your average girly clothes. But also wear laid back clothes like a north face, boots, and jeans. It’s cute and casual.
4. Boyfriend is an iffy thing. If your boyfriend is popular maybe but you can’t toy with love so that doesn’t matter. But Jocks+Cheerleaders are awesome match.
5. Makeup by the way…Mascara , eyeliner, eye shadow and lip gloss do it lightly. Everyone is beauitiful.
6. Be everyone’s friend so rumour spreads your really popular.
7. DON’T FORGET TO BE HEARD SMILE A LOT AND BE LOUD AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE TEAHCER’S PET

just so you know. high school is only 4 years long. be who you are, dont try & force yourself to be something that you’re personally not. ok sure you can become a hot popular cheerleader in high school, but what are you after? you’re still going to be you after high school, & no one is even going to care if you were one or not. don’t kill yourself to be someone for four years just to lose it after.
well you need to be good at cheerleading become captin. date a sports guy like foot ball quarter back. i depends on how long of hair but if:
long- curl so that there is some wave put it in a ponytail with ribbon when cheerleading
short/medium-flip bottoms and put in low pig tails with ribbon when cheerleading
if you dont already get layers and thick bangs
shirts-layered ambircrombi hollister ancor blue wet sear forever 21 ect.
pants-colored and jean skinny jeans
shoes- coverse hi and low but if hi tuck skinny jeans under top. slim vans and ug boots (only where these with normal skinny jeans)
make-up- brown has no opposite to make you eyes pop but if you where black liquid eyeliner and thick mascarra it should help where a real neatrul pink lip gloss and a slightly darker tone blush

THEY WEREN’T SLUTS AND THEY WEREN’T SO MATERIALISTIC AS TO CARE ABOUT BEING PRETTY OR POPULAR.
they care about grades and real friends.
Seriously, the only way to be popular with out everyone hating you is to be nice to EVERYONE and be outgoing and fun.

-Be nice to the people who appear to be ‘cool’ and try to make friends with them and roll your eyes as if saying “HAHA what a dork!” to the people who aren’t
-Be talkative and outgoing, that’s a good way to get people to notice you
-Wear shiny lip gloss and some eyeliner EVERY DAY
-Flirt with all the cute boys
-Get a Myspace (if you don’t already have one), it’s a good way to keep connected with your friends at school
-Talk kind of loud most of the time, shy people (or people who seem shy) are never popular
-Smile always, being confident helps a LOT
