Not really sure what exactly you are planning on? Is it going to be sponsored and paid for by the school? Will it be on school property? If so, you will need to get with the schools legal department and make sure they will be willing to insure the liabilty and keep track of things like physicals, and grade point eligibilities. Also, who plans on paying for things like uniforms and transportation? If you expect the school to provide uniforms and transportation, you are going to have to submit a plan to the school districts budget and finance department. Who is going to supervise and chaperone your squad??? Since you are minors, you would have to have an adult coach, and if this squad is going to be sponsored by the school the coach will have to be interviewed and hired by the school including a full criminal background check.

I don’t know if you have thought this through or not, but putting together a school organization takes a lot of time and planning and its expensive. You can’t just “convice the princ. to let you have a cheer squad”…. its going to take several months… if not years to get through the logistics let along coming up with the money to fund it.

Honestly, the only real option you have is to start some sort of cheerleading squad that isn’t affiliated with the school, in which you would have to keep the activities of your squad off of school time and property.
