My jumps are decent. I am a good flyer. (I can do a heel stretch, bow & arrow, scorpion, etc. I can do a roundoff backhandspring backtuck or layout and a standing back tuck.

I used to be an all star cheerleader. Idk if high school cheerleading is harder to get on or what.

i can also base but idk if on my team i would fly or base cause i might have to fly cause they have some bigger bases

lol my school you just have to go to be a cheerleader haha, but i dont really knoe.

    ya im sure youl make it because i had a friend who tried out who could not do even half the things you can and still got in.

    Yes, if you can do a layout and a standing back, then you should have no problem making a high school team. Most schools don’t judge you on stunting ability during tryouts, so your flying skills probably won’t matter as far as making the team. But once you’re on it, they’ll be glad to have an experienced flyer!

    To get an idea of what they’ll be looking for, here’s a typical score sheet that many schools use for cheer tryouts:

    Entrance/Smile – 5 pts
    Crowd appeal (neat, pleasant appearance) – 5 pts
    Spirit (being peppy) – 5 pts
    Voice Projection (being loud but not screechy) – 5 pts
    Motions (being sharp) – 10 pts
    Memory/Recall (ability to learn the cheer) – 10 pts
    Jumps (height and technique) – 15 pts
    Tumbling (difficulty and form) – 10-15 pts
    Dance ability – 5-10 pts
    Grades – 10 pts
    Citizenship – 20 pts
    Total Possible points – 100 pts
