I’m thinking about doing cheerleading, but I have a problem with rallying and yelling. I feel like an idiot when i try(only tried once anywayz) and dont really yell(obviously i can but i just dont) what do i do?

I think you should go for it. It’s awkward yelling and rallying by yourself, but if you’re surrounded by the other cheerleaders who are all screaming as well, you probably won’t feel out of place and it’ll be easier to let yourself scream haha. 🙂

Well, you just need to overcome that. What a lot of people don’t understand is that Cheerleading is truly HARD WORK. But, once you get over the whole “I feel stupid” thing [which everyone goes through by the way], then it’s totally amazing.
Just keep perfecting your movements and gain flexibility, muscle endurance, and muscle strength. You will truly need all of these things.

All cheerleaders yell, so don’t be embarrassed when you do. Just remember that the girls around you are going through the same thing, you just need to break out of your shell.
Don’t hold back any of your excitement and energy when cheering. You want to be “that cheerleader”, the one who stands out the one that people will say “wow she really knows how to cheer”
If your planning on becoming a cheerleader yelling and cheering is the MOST important thing next to strength and agility.
REMEMBER: If your a cheerleader its your job to yell, YOU’RE AN ENTERTAINER when you become a cheerleader. And it’s officially in your territory to cheer really loud, people won’t look at you weird if you cheer loudly but they will if you don’t, they’ll be thinking “hey isn’t she supposed to be a cheerleader? Why isn’t she louder?” haha.
