Perfect practice makes perfect, and positive attitude. It actually does work. I was in for a competition, and I was way behind, but I always saw myself being on the podeum getting a award, and I won. Also eat healthy, and FOCUS!

Well i am pretty flexible as i have been cheering, dancing and tumbling since i was 3 (not to brag)… anyways i would try to get flexible by bending over and touching your toes, try to get your body to just higher and plea or bend your knees as far as you can between jumps! Hope this helps! Remember practice makes perfect! PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!! Good Luck!!

Watch film on the pro’s and try to copy their moves.
A pro football player watches game film to improve on his mistakes.

Take tumbling classes and get onto an all star or school cheerleading team. This will teach you a lot about both of these sports!! Make sure to have a positive attitude! eat healthy and condition. Take as many classes as you can and you should learn a lot! dont be afraid to ask instructors questions!!! best of luck!

well, it makes me happy to see someone want to improve so here are some tips :]
if you are trying to improve your tumbling skills, I highly encourage you to join a cheer tumble class at a cheer gym or tumbling gym. They give you tons of help, you’ll be tumbling in no time.

flexibility is also really helpful with tumbling and jumps. stretch everyday, but when you stretch make sure you are actually stretching your muscles really well. you should be able to stretch farther and farther everyday if you are doing it correctly.

conditioning helps stunts and tumbling too. if you do pushups everyday, tht will help. start out with like 3 sets of 10 pushups, and every day increase the 10 to 11 and then to 12 and so on. that really will give you some needed upper body strength.

to improve your jumps, stretch tons and just do a whole bunch, practice really will help on jumps.

practice your motions in a mirror and make sure they look sharp and tight and your arms and wrists are where they are supposed to be. repition is key.

i hope this helps, do these things and you’ll be great!
best of luck to you :]

Make sure you know all your jumps. Toe touches, herkies, herdlers , and pike.
Show plenty of positive attitude and just spirit.
Try your hardest and stay postive and you’ll get it. 🙂
