Wow! That IS serious. Hadn’t thought about it, but those routines are enormously involved, and individualized. Watching it live, it’d probably be near impossible to copy it, but watching on YT, and repeating, and repeating, someone (with enough talent) could virtually clone it. I don’t think I’m likely to, but… LOL

WAY back in the mid to late 70’s my little sister used to be in these contests. Back then cheerleaders didn’t incorporate gymnastics with cheering. Back then she was also a gymnast too. Well she did a bunch of running backflips in her cheering routine and stunned the crowd! She won three “Miss Yell” championships in a row…..& lost #4 to someone younger 🙁 BTW, no ESPN coverage for PAL cheering back then! 😛
