Question by Hailey O: How do you wash a cheerleading uniform?
i was just going to take it to the dry cleaners, but my coach told me not to. i have 3 old uniforms (old as in they have been washed before, and i am not their first owner) and a new one that has never been washed.

There should be a care tag inside of it. It has been my experience that you either take it to the dry cleaners or hand wash it and line dry. To hand wash it, clean your bathtub and then fill it with cool water and your color-safe laundry detergent. Wash and rinse in well. Use cool water to rinse. Do not wring/squeeze your uniform. Roll it into a loose ball (to prevent stretching) and press it against the bottom of the rinsed bathtub. Find either a good sweater drying rack (separate pieces sold at bed bath and beyond for $ 10 a piece) or hang your uniform on a plastic hanger to dry.
