Question by Jessie: Why does the cheerleader die unexpectedly at the very end of the new hit movie “Maple Lane”?
It’s just a movie I made up, let’s see who’s dumb enough to fall for this.

You weren’t paying attention.
Remember when she went to Jake’s apartment and the two hoods beat her up? Remember how they bundled her into the elevator and sent it down?
The jump cut shows those guys slamming the trunk lid down and driving out of the parking garage and (of course) you assume she’s in there.
That’s why, in that last shootout with the cops that Jake tries to stop the car rolling over the bridge rail, because HE thinks she’s in there.

The kicker is right at the end of the credits, they’ve been scrolling down over that medium shot of Jake staring down into the water, as the last credit rolls down a police car slides up behind Jake and she gets out of the back seat wearing a policeman’s jacket, Jake turns and she runs into his arms.

Hey hey guys, I’m Dana Ward – thanks for joining us today on ClevverTV. Today we’re dishing on Gregg Sulkin’s new starring role over on the Disney Channel. The cute-to-boot British actor made quite the impression with his role of Wizards of Waverly Place. In fact, he’s returning for another season of the show, but in his brief time off Gregg was quite the busy guy, shooting an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, “Avalon High.” Of course we’ve been bringing you guys lots of info on this project and now we’re finally getting a sneak peak at a promo shot of the entire cast. Gregg is front and center in the scenic shot, and we love that signature smile he’s sporting! In case you haven’t heard, “Avalon High” is based on a book that centers on a character named Ellie Pennington, who by the way is played by Brittany Robertson. So Allie is a transfer student to AHS, when she learns that all of her friends at her new school are reincarnations of King Arthur and his Court. This is going to be an amazing movie event!
