What kind of leaps, turns, etc. should I be able to do in order to make the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading team?

Question by thedancer: What kind of leaps, turns, etc. should I be able to do in order to make the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading team?
I think they are great performers but as far as turns, leaps, and tumbling goes, what do you think I would need to be able to do in order to make the team? I already know a lot about dance (18 years of ballet, 12 years of jazz, 5 years of contemporary, 6 years of hip-hop, 6 years of cheerleading) but I’m just looking for opinions.

even though they are called cheerleaders, they are really dancers. they don’t really turn or leap unless you are on the show team. But you need to kick really high because of their kickline and have good stamina because what they do can be tiring.

They have a show on CMT that shows the auitioning process and their training camp, and what they really do and what you would need to be able to do to make the team.

you can watch the full episodes there. if you really want to try out, i would suggest watching that.

The DCC don’t do any type of tumbling.
