Question by : How do I clean my poms for cheerleading? And whats the fastest way to seperate them?
I just got my pom poms today, but their from last year. They were kept in a bin since the season ended, and now they are scrunched up and smell really, really bad. How do I clean them and make them smell good? And what is the fastest way to seperate them?

Wash ’em n’ spread ’em. Simple as that.

Spray Windex on a paper towel or rag and wipe down your poms layer by layer of strands. Then, take a hair blow dryer on low heat and shake and “fluff” them (by grasping a few strands at a time and scrunching them up) to put that extra body in your pom. Be careful if you have holographic poms. They’re a weird material and will change colors if you put chemicals on them. Just clean those with water.

Here is a guide to taking care of poms after the season is over so you don’t have to worry about them getting messed up 🙂
